Mills-Eaton has been offering training and coaching for over 23 years. Over the last 15 years, our focus has been on Leadership, Communication and Team Development. All our programs are tailored for each of our client's organisational requirements. In 2010, Kellie designed an Authentic Leadership Program which has now been delivered to over 600 participants. The program is organisation specific, supported with an extensive participant manual and presented over 6 - 7 days spread over several months. Our programs are workshop-style, discussion based, with support material usually provided in workbooks, and we do not use PowerPoint.

Kellie Mills is a passionate teacher and influencer, the Senior Practitioner, Specialist Trainer and Coach at Mills-Eaton Training, based in Newcastle, NSW. For the last twenty-three years, Kellie has been designing and presenting results-focused training and reflective coaching in over 107 towns and cities across Australia (and in the USA and Canada). She is a noted conference presenter - delivering keynote addresses and workshops for a wide variety of clients and is highly respected by business and government organisations.
Keen observation of human behaviour over the last 35+ years has allowed Kellie to apply knowledge gained to training content and style. The resulting practical, no-nonsense approach has proved to be enormously effective in assisting the more than 1200 individuals she works with annually.
The primary focus of Kellie’s work is in the areas of Leadership, Team Development, and Communication. She has developed a reputation as the ‘Team Whisperer’ due to her continued success in transforming dysfunctional teams. In 2010, Kellie developed an innovative leadership program focused on the practical application of leadership in the workplace. Over 700 people have completed the program. Client response has been outstanding.

Kellie is noted for her passion for working with women. During her time in Port Macquarie, Kellie was heavily involved in the business community. She founded the Hastings Business Women’s Network (HBWN) in 1999 and served as President for the first six years. HBWN now boasts a membership base of around 200 women. She served as President of the Hunter Business Women’s Network in Newcastle from 2009-2011. The Business Women's Networks in Albury, Coffs Harbour and Kempsey, NSW used Kellie's concepts in setting up their networks. She has been honoured for her work, becoming the 2005 Woman of the Year for Port Macquarie and being placed on the 2005 Premier's Honour Roll for Women. She is also the Creator of the 100 Alice Stories Project.
A Novocastrian by birth, Kellie lived in Port Macquarie from 1982 until January 2006 when she relocated back to Newcastle.
Gary is a strategic coach, trainer and partner in Mills-Eaton and holds an Honours Degree in Psychology from the University of New England, a member of the Golden Key International Honour Society, and is also a Graduate Member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (GAICD).
Prior to teaming up with Kellie in 1997, Gary operated a training consultancy based in South Australia. His primary client base was retail and the media - especially radio and press. While possessing a strong background in sales, marketing and training, Gary is also known for his strategic thinking and the ability to apply strategy to client based research projects.
Gary also has an interest in the challenges of learning to manage tendencies towards procrastination and has run training courses and written articles about this common issue.
He also works with teams - having two skilled coaches and trainers offers our clients a variety of approaches in dealing with team / training / coaching issues. Gary's particular interests lay in Strategic Planning and Goal Setting.
Gary has had the experience of many cultures including Asia, Ethiopia, United States and other western cultures. He is often tasked to coach individuals not from Australia, to help them fit in to their Australian roles from a cultural perspective i.e. understanding how to work with Australian staff - whose culture is strange to those from elsewhere in the world. He is accredited by Genos International as a trainer and coach in Emotional Intelligence and in using the Genos Employee Motivation Assessment tool. Gary is also qualified in the application of Belbin Team Roles,
